Surprise me; I'm always up for anything. I'd like my first date to be something where I had a real chance to talk to the other person and connect with them. Anything from a movie followed by dinner and a chance to discuss the film, to a quiet night in a cozy coffee shop, to a night-time picnic out under the stars. It doesn't matter what we do so much as who I'm doing it with.

I've never been to a poetry/fiction reading, which is weird considering I'm such an English nerd, and I'd really love to go to one; same thing with an open mic night at a coffee shop somewhere. I've always wanted to try just about anything I've never done before--anything from thrill rides at an amusement park to deep-sea fishing.

Aside from that, I just want to learn and experience as much as possible, and get to know myself as well as I can so I can help other people; my life is about making connections and being close to people.

Writing is my lifelong passion, and I'm also an avid reader, everything from stodgy classics to downright silly pulp fiction; I'm addicted to TV on DVD and director commentary. I like to google random things just to learn about something new.

Mostly I believe in life as an adventure, and am game to try just about anything once; I like talking to people about all sorts of random things, and nothing appeals to me quite as much as a solid philosophical debate. Conversation is one of my favorite art forms.
